Wine, ginger, rose and garrigue honey make up this festive wine, which was very popular in the Middle Ages.

It was served at the end of huge banquets and used by knights as a tonic.

Hypocras was drunk in the same way as coffee today, for its stimulating, digestive and perhaps even aphrodisiac properties!

The Domaine du Cardona has adapted this wine to the historical context, with : A selection of the best wines from the Corbières terroir, highly scented garrigue honey and a selection of oriental spices.

It is best served chilled at 4°C or chilled as an aperitif, with cheese, desserts or as an evening wine.

It can also be used to make cocktails.
